Pay : $40.00/Hour
Job Description:
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle
- Review and validate Purchase Requisitions (PORs) before PO creation
- Confirm supplier setup and availability in Oracle
- Navigate Oracle system to:
- Check PO history
- Review inventory and supply/demand data (view-only)
- Provide accurate status updates to planners
- Support production meetings by preparing PO and part status reports (primarily in Excel)
- Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs):
- Work regularly with ~5 key suppliers (out of ~9 total)
- Handle releases, expediting, and payment follow-ups
- Support farm-out and repair activities:
- Coordinate with ~20 suppliers over short production cycles
- Communicate with suppliers via email and Microsoft Teams to:
- Request quotes (RFQs)
- Expedite materials
- Clarify requirements
- Maintain documentation for audit compliance, including PO attachments
Qualifications:
- Experience working with Oracle (or similar ERP systems) for PO processing
- Strong understanding of procurement processes (POs, PORs, BPOs)
- Ability to navigate multiple system screens and extract relevant data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and tracking
- Strong communication skills for supplier coordination (email and virtual meetings)
- Experience managing multiple suppliers and handling expediting activities
- Attention to detail for validating requisitions and maintaining documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short supplier cycles
- Basic understanding of inventory, supply/demand concepts (view-only level acceptable)
