Title: Retail Sales Specialist B
Location: Mukilteo, WA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: $18.51-$22.78/hr. (W2)
Shift: 1st Shift
Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Specialist to support daily retail operations while delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, possess strong communication skills, and take pride in creating a positive customer experience while representing the Company brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a positive shopping experience.
  • Process purchases, returns, and exchanges using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Perform daily cash handling and cash control procedures.
  • Receive, process, and organize incoming and outgoing merchandise shipments.
  • Maintain inventory levels, stock balances, and merchandise displays.
  • Facilitate customer special orders and inter-store merchandise transfers.
  • Process Mark Out of Stock (MOS) and Return to Vendor (RTV) merchandise.
  • Prepare inventory documentation and support annual inventory counts.
  • Execute merchandising floor sets and maintain store presentation standards.
  • Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure proper product storage.
  • Open and close the store following established procedures.
  • Respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries via email and other communication channels.
  • Restock merchandise, maintain store cleanliness, and identify safety concerns.
  • Report customer concerns and operational issues to store management.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of retail, customer service, or related experience.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely lift and move boxes up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a retail and stockroom environment.

Additional Information
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Successful completion of required training (OJT and/or classroom training) is a contingency for assignment.
  • Overtime may be required periodically.
  • Interview Process: Phone interview followed by an onsite interview.
