Supplier Qual Engineer I - Exempt
Job Description
Join our team in Brooklyn Park, MN, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of parts, materials, and services provided by our suppliers. As a key contributor, you'll work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to maintain quality and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time, onsite position, offering an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.
- Qualify suppliers according to company standards and administer a Certified Supplier Program.
- Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and resolve supplier-related issues.
- Develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to ensure suppliers meet GMP and quality standards.
- Evaluate suppliers'internal functions to assess performance and provide feedback.
- Provide Pre-Market Quality Engineering support to New Product Development (NPD).
- Collaborate with Component Engineers on Product Acceptance Sampling Strategy and Control Plans.
- Define Receiving Inspection requirements and validate test methods.
An individual contributor role responsible for advancing existing technology or introducing new technology and therapies. You will manage projects, deliver R&D, and work on systems or initiatives related to new technologies, adhering to policies and using specialized knowledge and skills.

- 1-5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharma, or similar).
- Experience supporting supplier change requests or supplier quality activities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with suppliers, engineering, operations, and quality teams.
- Strong project and timeline management skills.
This position is based in Brooklyn Park, MN, with full-time onsite work required. Candidates should be local to the Plymouth, MN area or willing to relocate.
