Storeroom Attendant

Location: Chino, CA 91710
Duration: 3 Months (Potential Temp-to-Hire)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift Timings: Monday–Friday, 7: 30 AM –4: 00 PM
Job Description:
We are hiring a Storeroom Attendant to support warehouse and inventory operations at a customer site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining inventory while providing excellent customer service. This role requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with extensive walking and standing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, inspect, and stock incoming materials.
- Perform inventory control and cycle counting.
- Issue parts and materials to customers/employees.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems and scanners.
- Operate a manual pallet jack.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and replenishing inventory.
- Fill vending machines when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom.
- Lift materials up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
- Minimum 3 months of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience.
- Experience with inventory management, receiving, stocking, and cycle counting.
- Basic computer skills and experience using iPads/tablets and barcode scanners.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Experience using a manual pallet jack.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders (6–8 feet).
- Safety-conscious with attention to detail.
- Steel-toe shoes required.
- Forklift or Cherry Picker experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (Vista, Control, SX.E, Prophet 21).
- Basic math skills.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (not mandatory).
