Overview
Join our team as a New Product Development Supplier Quality Engineer, where you will support supplier quality for new product launches. This role specifically focuses on Regional Expansions, Design Changes, and Supplier Development to ensure long-term supplier stability.
Top 3 Technical Skills Required
  • Manufacturing / Production Controls experience, specifically in translating design outputs/specifications into production controls
  • Risk Management, identifying risks and implementing risk mitigations
  • Process Validation
Education and Experience Required
Ideal candidates fulfill Senior Level Position requirements, but Quality Engineer 2 level experience is acceptable. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience. A University Degree is required, with a preference for advanced education.
Work Schedule
This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. The candidate will work onsite in Lafayette, CO, a vibrant location offering a perfect blend of small-town charm and modern amenities.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.
  • Qualify suppliers according to company standards and administer a Certified Supplier Program.
  • Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and resolve supplier-related problems.
  • Develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to ensure suppliers meet GMP and quality standards.
  • Evaluate suppliers'internal functions to assess performance and provide feedback.
