Sr Software Quality Engr - Exempt
Job Description
Join our dynamic team and contribute to the HUGO project in the vibrant city of Boston, MA. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team and other Software Quality Engineers to ensure the highest quality standards for our software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, apply, and maintain software quality documentation following established methods, processes, and procedures.
- Conduct evaluations of software systems activities, including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification, and validation.
- Define and implement measures to ensure product quality and compliance with project, process, and contract requirements.
- Review software systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.
- Provide or direct verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability.
- Performing Software FMEA
- Risk Management Planning and Reporting experience
- Knowledge of IEC 62304
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, and it is based onsite in Boston, MA.

As a seasoned individual contributor, you will work independently under limited supervision, coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level specialists. You may manage projects or processes and will be responsible for contributing to the completion of work group objectives, building relationships, and reaching consensus on assignments. You will also have opportunities to provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area.
