Job Title: Sr ServiceNow Developer Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Experience Level: Level 3 (senior): 5-7 years
Job Level: FTC
Location: Montreal (Day 1 onboarding onsite / in office presence 3x week) –open to someone willing to relocate to MTL.


The Senior ServiceNow Developer Hardware Asset Management (HAM) is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise scale HAM solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role delivers secure, scalable, and audit ready workflows supporting the full hardware asset lifecycle, while ensuring data integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance with enterprise risk and control standards.

The role requires deep hands on ServiceNow development experience, strong HAM/ITAM domain expertise, and the ability to collaborate across technology, operations, and governance teams.

Key Responsibilities
•Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow Pro solutions supporting the full asset lifecycle (procure, receive, deploy, transfer, reclaim, store, dispose)
•Build and maintain Flow Designer workflows, business rules, Script Includes, UI policies, and catalog/task extensions
•Ensure asset data accuracy, classification, normalization, and lifecycle governance
•Implement and maintain role-based access controls, ACLs, and least privilege security models
•Support audit, risk, and compliance requirements, including SOX aligned controls and data traceability
•Develop and support integrations with upstream and downstream enterprise systems (e.G., procurement, inventory, logistics)
•Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA/UAT, Platform, and Operations teams throughout the SDLC
•Participate in release planning, upgrades, code freezes, regression testing, and production support
•Provide senior level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect resolution
•Contribute to technical standards, documentation, and developer best practices
•Mentor junior developers and promote engineering quality and consistency

Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
•5+ years of hands on ServiceNow development experience
•Strong, demonstrated experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM / ITAM)
•Proven expertise with:
o ServiceNow HAM Pro
o Flow Designer and workflow automation
o Asset and model data structures
•Scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions)
•Solid understanding of data integrity, access controls, and audit ready system design
•Experience delivering solutions in large, complex, enterprise environments
•Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
•ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), CIS
•Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
•Experience supporting global or multi region HAM implementations
•Familiarity with integration patterns (APIs, MID Server, imports/transform maps)
•Experience working within Agile or structured SDLC frameworks
•Prior exposure to regulated or audit driven environments
