We are seeking a senior Project Manager to support our Legal organization’s Digital and AI Transformation roadmap. This role will operate on the cutting edge, partnering with senior Legal leaders, internal IT teams, and an external delivery partner.
Role Overview
The Project Manager will be embedded in a highly matrixed environment and will play a critical role in bringing structure, clarity, and alignment across multiple Legal workstreams and a large Tiger Team. We are starting with a 90-day engagement, anticipating significant contributions from the candidate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Translate vendor delivery plans into clear, executive-ready views of phases, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain week-by-week execution clarity, including what “good”progress looks like.
  • Define, document, and socialize roles, responsibilities, and governance structures.
  • Run core operating rhythms (status, risks, decisions, dependencies, escalations).
  • Develop and deliver executive-ready written and verbal communications.
  • Lead elements of change management and adoption planning, particularly related to how Legal will use AI.
  • Ensure alignment between the roadmap and the broader Legal Digital Transformation portfolio.
  • Identify resource gaps, decision bottlenecks, and cross-workstream dependencies early.
Required Experience
  • 5 years of Project or Program Management experience in complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven success working with senior executive stakeholders in Legal, Risk, Compliance, or similarly governed functions.
  • Strong background in governance, communications, and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed organization without direct authority.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation and/or AI-enabled initiatives preferred.

  • Not a delivery or engineering role.
  • Not responsible for solution design or system build.
  • Not duplicative of vendor responsibilities.

  • Leadership has consistent, trusted visibility into progress and risks.
  • Roles, governance, and decision paths are clearly understood.
  • Workstreams remain aligned and appropriately resourced.
  • Legal stakeholders are prepared to adopt AI-enabled capabilities.
