Sr Manufacturing Engineer - Exempt
Job Description

Key Skills Required
- Equipment/process documentation experience in a regulated environment, with familiarity in packaging and labeling processes.
- Strong communication skills.
- Effective time management and ability to deliver on commitments.
- Develop and release label printer documentation.
- Learn new printer technology and train operators and technicians on its use.
- Execute all work in compliance with quality system requirements.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
- Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities for efficient and productive layout.
- Specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment affecting product performance.
- Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions for product quality.
- Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and develop those techniques.
- Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements.
- Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations.
- Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the job area, combining breadth and depth of expertise.
- Practical knowledge of project management is advantageous.
This position offers the opportunity to work on-site 5 days per week, with the chance to make a significant impact on our manufacturing processes and contribute to the success of our Nathan Lane manufacturing site.
