Sr Human Factors Design Eng - Exempt
Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to work on a team of experts, focusing on the human factors engineering of a class III medical device. Responsibilities
- Design and execute human factors validation studies, including study protocol development and participant recruitment.
- Perform use-related risk analysis and author comprehensive usability data analysis reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide design recommendations based on usability data.
- Apply human performance principles to the design of human-machine systems and products.
- Develop and implement research methodologies and statistical analysis plans for product development.
- Interface with design engineers to establish system design and ensure optimized human-machine interfaces.
- Identify and analyze technological problems or risks and develop research and analysis plans.
- 5-10 years of experience in human factors engineering or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of human factors methodologies, usability testing, and risk analysis.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage projects from design to implementation.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- University degree in a relevant field, with advanced education preferred.
This position requires on-site work in Minneapolis, MN, with an expectation of 4 days in the office per week. We are looking to hire and start as soon as possible.
