Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research methodologies and statistical analysis plans to test and evaluate developmental prototypes used in all phases of product development and processes.
  • Design and execute tests to simulate product use for concept selection/refinement, requirements development, user-related risk identification, and formal usability validation with intended users.
  • Interface with design engineers to establish system design, operating, and training requirements and ensure optimized human-machine interfaces.
  • Identify and analyze technological problems or risks, perform theoretical human factors investigations, and develop and implement research and analysis plans.

You may act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower-level professionals. Required Knowledge and Experience
Requires advanced knowledge of the job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Practical knowledge of project management may be beneficial. Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
