Job Description:
  • The Senior Health Care Analyst is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, implementing, and leading department assignments. This position operates within broad objectives to ensure optimum utilization of Client and budget.
  • This role is responsible for research, compilation, and analyzing appropriate and relevant data and makes recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Provides audit and analytics support to Medicare pharmacy services business team.
  • Builds and supports business reports to be included in executive dashboard.
  • Gathers requirements for part D dashboard and implements the dashboard on SharePoint platform.
  • Leads in the research, analysis, identification, and evaluation of data from assigned problems to evaluate existing and potential trends and issues.
Required Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of data languages such as SAS and SQL to create business reports and dashboards
  • Working with large data sources and analyzing pharmacy data
  • Analytical business experience in using Medicare pharmacy data
  • Ability to design and develop SharePoint site and operational reporting using SAS data sources.
  • Knowledge of PBM systems and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, verbal, and written skills to communicate complex ideas.
  • Excellent knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to use AI tools for data analytics and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
