JOB DESCRIPTION
Duration: 3 months (potential Temp to Perm)
Location: Remote (US preferred)
Reports to: Sr. Director, ServiceNow Platform Owner
Role Overview
*** is seeking a hands on ServiceNow Platform Architect to support day to day run the platform architecture across two ServiceNow instances. The primary purpose of this role is to own platform architecture, health, and execution, freeing up the Sr. Director to focus on a broader IT Transformation and Platform Modernization initiative.
This is a working architect role, not advisory only.
Key Responsibilities
·Act as the day to day architect for two ServiceNow platforms (internal and client facing)
·Own platform architecture decisions, patterns, and standards
·Ensure platform health, performance, scalability, and upgrade readiness
·Review and guide configurations, customizations, integrations, and scripts
·Reduce technical debt and enforce configuration vs. Customization best practices
·Serve as escalation point for complex architectural and design decisions
·Maintain platform documentation, guardrails, and architectural consistency
·Partner closely with the Sr. Director while operating independently day to day
Platform Scope (High Level)
·Internal ServiceNow instance: ITSM, service catalog, automation, internal workflows
·External ServiceNow instance: Client facing service delivery and case management, highly integrated environment
Required Experience
·8+ years of ServiceNow experience with architect level ownership
·Proven experience running ServiceNow platforms in production
·Experience supporting multi instance ServiceNow environments
·Strong hands on knowledge of ITSM, service catalog, integrations, and platform services
·Ability to balance platform stability with ongoing change
Nice to Have
·Experience stepping in as an interim or contract platform architect
·Prior temp to perm experience
