Safety Management System Specialist
Job Description
Location: Lewisville, TX
Shift Timing: Mon thru Fri;8 hour shifts
Duration: 0- 09 months
Pay Rate: $35-45/hour
Responsibilities:
Position Overview
The Safety Documentation Specialist is responsible for developing ISO 45001 required written safety programs and identifying associated training and documentation requirements. These safety programs are designed to be used by front line leaders, and drive safety performance improvements, as well as compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
i. Write, edit, and finalize ISO 45001 related procedures
ii. Verify safety documentation aligns with current regulatory standards in the US and Canda, but can be scaled globally.
iii. Partner with EHS, Operations, and legal to write and obtain comments for the draft procedures
v. Maintain consistent document control, versioning
Qualifications
i. Experience in ISO 45001 procedures, documentation, and technical writing for safety compliance and management system programs.
ii. Strong understanding of US and Canada safety regulatory requirement
iii. Exceptional writing skills.
iv. Ability to translate complex safety regulations into clear, practical instructions for location managers
