R&D Technician
Job Description
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Duration: 24 months
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $31.63/hr.
Duties:
- You will be working with many people including R&D, technical support, marketing, and NPI to support the following efforts:
- Oscilloscope calibration.
- Oscilloscope and QUADS software Installation/Reinstallation.
- Oscilloscope and QUADS hardware service coordination.
- Oscilloscope application validation and issue submission.
- Oscilloscope maintenance.
- Narrow down what the issue is on a scope and provide the instrument to our local team to fix.
- Make sure the equipment that we use with the above equipment is operational.
- Help with imaging to SSDs that go into the equipment.
- You will need to work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
Skills:
- General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
- Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment successfully.
- Demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change.
- Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure.
- Able to identify, prioritize and solve technical problems.
- Demonstrated strong initiative.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Education:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications:
- Higher level education or certifications in electronics.
- Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes.
