Job Description

Job Title: R&D Technician
Location: Colorado Springs, CO 
Duration: 24 months
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $31.63/hr.
 
 
Duties:
  • You will be working with many people including R&D, technical support, marketing, and NPI to support the following efforts:
  • Oscilloscope calibration.
  • Oscilloscope and QUADS software Installation/Reinstallation.
  • Oscilloscope and QUADS hardware service coordination.
  • Oscilloscope application validation and issue submission.
  • Oscilloscope maintenance. 
  • Narrow down what the issue is on a scope and provide the instrument to our local team to fix.
  • Make sure the equipment that we use with the above equipment is operational.
  • Help with imaging to SSDs that go into the equipment.
  • You will need to work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
 
Skills: 
  • General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment successfully.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change.
  • Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure.
  • Able to identify, prioritize and solve technical problems.
  • Demonstrated strong initiative.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
 
Education:      
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
 
Desired Qualifications:
  • Higher level education or certifications in electronics.
  • Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes.
