Quality Technician
Job Description
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Duration: 24 months
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $31.90 /hr.
Duties:
- Mechanical inspection of precision machined components.
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine, Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment.
- Calibrations of metrology equipment.
- Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to Non-Conformance Reports with thorough documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Interpreting mechanical specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong PC skills (MS Windows/Office including Excel and Outlook)
- Preferred: Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understanding
- Preferred: ISO 9001 and AS9100
