Job Description

Project Manager (IT) Senior
Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of AiGC s enterprise-wide AML program.
  • Establish project foundation: program charters, roadmaps, Gantt charts, business plans, and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Develop governance structures, policies, operational processes, and documentation required for FINTRAC oversight.
  • Coordinate across stakeholders including legal counsel, external consultants, iGaming operators, GoA representatives, and AML Special Advisor.
  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on execution to meet legislative, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare materials for FINTRAC examinations, executive briefings, and board-level presentations.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships and drive cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Operate in a dynamic, evolving environment while ensuring project milestones and compliance objectives are met.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree, diploma, or certificate in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
  • 5+ years in senior project management roles.
  • 5+ years managing large, complex custom software or IT projects.
  • 5+ years available for frequent face-to-face meetings with clients and technical teams.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
  • Currently active PMP or PgMP certification.
  • 3+ years developing positive stakeholder relationships.
  • 3+ years creating change management deliverables (Change Strategy, Communication Plans).
  • 3+ years leading complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-technology projects.
  • 3+ years experience with written and verbal communications for executive and technical audiences.
  • 3+ years working with MS Project tools.
