Contract: 0-6 Months (Possible Extensions)

 Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our Reagent Pack Value Stream team. In this role, you will formulate, fill, test, and package chemical and biological reagent products while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing environment and is committed to producing high-quality products that support healthcare and laboratory customers.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate, fill, test, and package chemical and biological reagent products according to production schedules.
  • Read, interpret, and follow work instructions, SOPs, engineering drawings, and work orders.
  • Execute daily production plans while meeting quality and on-time delivery goals.
  • Set up, calibrate, operate, test, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and reagent components.
  • Perform analytical testing, including pH, conductivity, and density measurements.
  • Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and training records.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Cross-train in multiple manufacturing processes and assist in training new team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as FDA, GMP, cGMP, or ISO.
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
  • Experience with formulation, filling, testing, packaging, or reagent manufacturing is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of analytical testing, including pH, conductivity, and density testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Experience with batch records, production documentation, and quality systems.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.
  • Frequently bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
