Position Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations through the receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials. This entry-level role ensures materials are handled accurately, safely, and in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage
  • Stock materials in designated warehouse locations
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment
  • Perform basic inventory transactions in ERP or warehouse systems
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
  • Transport materials using pallet jacks or other basic material handling equipment
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials to supervisor
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0–2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
  • Familiarity with inventory control processes
