Job Description
Title: Logistics Analyst
Location: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 United States
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8: 00 AM –5: 00 PM Hybrid –3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Duration: 0-12 Month
Pay: $35/Hour
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
•2–4 years of experience in logistics analytics, transportation analysis, supply chain finance, or ERP reporting roles.
•Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems;S/4HANA experience preferred.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel;experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
•Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities: For Logistics Analyst Role
•Analyze logistics cost drivers, including freight, transportation, and distribution expenses, to support cost transparency and informed decision making.
•Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to logistics analytics, transportation oversight, and internal controls.
•Review shipment, lane, and carrier performance data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
•Assist with RTP Logistics mailbox for daily issues to help develop long term solutions
•Act as an analytical liaison with transportation providers (e.G., Uber Freight) to support issue investigation, escalation, and resolution.
•Help develop SAP S/4HANA reporting and data governance support related to logistics and transportation.
•Support periodic logistics reporting activities and prepare documentation to support internal and external audits.
•Support ad hoc analytical requests and participate in continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
