Inventory Management - Contractor - A
Job Description
Location: Palm Bay, FL 32905 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months (Possible extension )
Pay rate range: $18 –$20/hr on w2 (All inclusive)
9/80 Reg Start time: 7: 00AM-4: 30PM
Description:
- Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
- Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
- Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
- Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- May perform wood shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates.
- Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc. Upon receipt of internal certification.
- Entry-level support individual contributor.
- Work is closely supervised.
- Work consists of tasks that are routine.
- Explains facts and practices related to job area.
- Works with close supervision on routine tasks.
- Detailed instructions are provided and close peer review is required.
- Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
- Work consists of tasks that are routine. Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
- Follows established processes to complete tasks. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.
- Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has minimal impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, routine task-related activities.
- Requires minimal job knowledge/skills.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
