Identity Access Management Consultant Senior
Location: Toronto, Ontario (Onsite)
Duration: 252 Days

Description
1. PKI Platform Support and Enhancement

Support PKI environments across Development, User Acceptance Testing, and Production.
Upgrade Entrust Certificate Authority from legacy version 8.2.40 to Entrust CA v10 to enable future migration to managed cloud services.
Implement disaster recovery solutions for Certificate Authority platforms, including Entrust and Microsoft ADCS.
Configure and manage Hardware Security Module (HSM) devices.
Migrate directory services from Client DirX to Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) to reduce software licensing costs.
Execute proof-of-concept initiatives for managed PKI cloud services.
Monitor health, performance, and availability of PKI service components.
Perform start/stop operations, backup and recovery, tuning, patching, and certificate/license renewals.
Triage, analyze, and resolve incidents and problems related to PKI platforms and services.
Assess the impact of changes initiated by internal teams and external service providers.
Document maintenance, operational, and support procedures.
Engage product vendors for advanced troubleshooting and extended support as required.

2. On-Call and Production Support

Provide 24x7 on-call support for production PKI environments and scheduled support for non-production environments.
Participate in incident and change management as coordinator, analyst, or tier-2/tier-3 subject matter expert.
Support PKI applications across networking and infrastructure components, including load balancers, firewalls, proxy servers, gateways, and routers.
Provide application and infrastructure support for technologies including Entrust PKI Suite, Microsoft ADCS, LDAP tools, IIS, Apache/NGINX, SQL, Oracle databases, and Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems.

3. Application Integration Support

Support client application teams integrating with PKI services for identity and access management.
Analyze technical requirements and design secure integration solutions.
Define integration patterns, processes, and deployment approaches.
Build, test, deploy, and troubleshoot PKI integrations.
Develop scripts, utilities, reports, and automation tools to streamline integration activities.
Produce detailed technical and operational documentation.

4. Support Capability Improvement

Define requirements for PKI support tools and evaluate suitable solutions.
Install, configure, and optimize monitoring and support tools.
Develop scripts, queries, reports, and automation to improve operational efficiency.
Document ongoing support and maintenance procedures.

5. Disaster Recovery and Resiliency

Assist with design and implementation of disaster recovery solutions for production PKI services.
Define and document operational DR processes and recovery procedures.

6. System Management and Monitoring

Define, configure, and implement PKI system management processes following industry best practices.
Establish monitoring, alerting, metrics, and thresholds.
Collaborate with infrastructure hosting partners to implement system management processes.
Document system management standards and procedures.

7. Knowledge Transfer and Team Enablement

Contribute to defining technical support role descriptions for PKI sustainment.
Develop and execute knowledge transfer plans, including validation of skill attainment.
Support transition of sustainment responsibilities to internal staff.
Deliver structured knowledge transfer and documentation.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
1. Large Application Solutions and Technologies 50%

10+ years of experience sustaining COTS-based identity and access management systems, including environments with 10, 000+ users.
10+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting large-scale applications using Entrust PKI Suite, Microsoft ADCS, LDAP tools, IIS, Apache/NGINX, WebLogic, SQL, Oracle databases, and Unix/Linux/Windows platforms.
Strong experience with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Capacity Management.
Extensive troubleshooting and decision-making experience for IAM and PKI-related systems.
Experience with automated testing tools such as TFS, Robot Framework, GOSS, SikuliX, or VSTS.
Strong verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills.

2. Large Identity and Access Systems 30%

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Entrust PKI Suite components.
Strong knowledge of security technologies including PKI, encryption, authentication, and SSL/TLS.

3. Quality Control and Release Management 20%

10+ years of experience applying quality control and assurance practices to large-scale application implementations.
Proven experience acting as a central point of contact for incidents and operational issues.

Must Have

10+ years of experience supporting COTS-based identity and access management platforms in large enterprise environments.
10+ years of experience with Entrust PKI Suite, Microsoft ADCS, LDAP, web servers, databases, and Unix/Linux/Windows systems.
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Entrust PKI Suite components.
