HVAC Lab Technician - EXP
Job Description
Location: East Syracuse, NY 13057
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Range: $30.00/Hr. - $32.00/hr.
Work type: Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble testing apparatuses to support testing and development of commercial HVAC products.
- Learn HVAC product certification standards.
- Perform electrical and mechanical modifications to test units and components.
- Fabricate and assemble testing apparatuses to support testing and development of commercial HVAC products.
- Understanding of HVAC product certification standards.
- Accurately record and document test data utilizing data systems and MS Office applications.
- Calibrate test equipment.
- Troubleshoot units or instrumentation issues.
- Run performance testing on HVAC equipment according to the ASHRAE / UL standards to support the HVAC Commercial Engineering team, including setting up, instrumenting, and testing of Carrier rooftop units
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC
- EPA refrigerant certification EPA608
