Position Summary
Geophysical Data Processor and Analyst
- Under direction of the Project Geophysicist, supports the remedial action project at Camp San Luis Obispo, CA, by performing data processing and analysis tasks using Oasis Montaj UX-Analyze module, BT Field, and Client software tools.
- The site is a formerly used defense site with potential unexploded ordnance contamination.
Responsibilities:
- Working side-by-side with our AGC data processing team, producing high-quality data for our client
- Demonstrating capabilities under Client DAGCAP program
- Processing, analyzing, and classifying advanced EMI instrument survey data using Oasis Montaj UX-Analyze module, BT Field, and Client software tools
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of munitions response geophysical work experience, including field experience with geophysical equipment and positioning systems
- Experience with BT Field or EM Class geophysical data processing software
- Four-year degree in geophysics or related field
- Good writing and oral communication skills
Desired:
- Experience collecting data with AGC sensors (MetalMapper2x2, MPV, APEX or UltraTEM)
- DAGCAP Certification for Data Processing and Classification
- Experience processing LiDAR datasets including for SLAM positioning
- Experience developing and modifying scripts to streamline processing workflows
- Experience developing data processing tools and algorithms in Python or other languages
