Nashville, Knoxville, or Louisville Market
(Candidates should reside within or be able to support the surrounding areas.) Travel Requirement:

  • Willingness to travel up to 80% as required.

  • Ability to travel overnight and work outdoors in varying weather conditions when necessary.
Position Overview:
The Field Manager is responsible for overseeing site construction, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting activities for wireless network deployment projects. This role supports field implementation, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinates with project stakeholders, and delivers accurate project reporting throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting T-Mobile wireless network deployments.

  • Knowledge of wireless site scoping.

  • Experience with large-scale wireless network rollout projects.
Required Certifications:
The following certifications must be current and available prior to project start:

  • CPR Certification

  • Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)

  • RF (Radio Frequency) Awareness

  • OSHA 10 with Fall Protection or OSHA 30
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform site construction, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting activities.

  • Follow all applicable federal, state, local, and OSHA safety regulations while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

  • Ensure site construction activities comply with established build standards and quality requirements.

  • Coordinate daily activities with suppliers, field teams, and project stakeholders.

  • Coordinate equipment repair and return activities.

  • Verify site quality throughout implementation and acceptance processes.

  • Perform commissioning and integration activities for wireless network equipment.

  • Prepare accurate and timely reports documenting project progress and activities.

  • Collaborate with field technicians and customer technical teams to support successful project execution.

  • Troubleshoot RBS hardware and board-level issues, including CBU, DUL, OBIF, RAX, and TX components.

  • Perform commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting for UMTS, LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, and GSM technologies.

  • Support microwave installation, commissioning, and alignment activities.

  • Interpret and implement RAN, RF, transmission, and network design documentation.

  • Apply knowledge of antenna systems and RF configurations at cell sites.

  • Perform grounding activities and follow safe electrical connection practices.

  • Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper equipment installation.

  • Maintain compliance with health and safety standards throughout project execution.

  • Safely operate hand tools and small power tools.

  • Follow detailed verbal and written instructions while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

  • Perform additional project-related responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting wireless network rollout projects.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry.

  • Experience with commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of UMTS, LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, and GSM wireless technologies.

  • Electrical training combined with telecommunications experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of microwave and fiber transmission concepts.

  • Knowledge of Radio Access Network (RAN), RF systems, and optical/microwave transmission infrastructure.

  • Experience integrating and troubleshooting cabinets and rack-mounted equipment.

  • Ability to work flexible schedules, travel extensively, and support field-based operations.
