Document Specialist
Job Description
Shift Time: 7: 45 AM-4: 15 PM, M-F
Schedule: This position will start out full time and will pivot to part time. The part-time schedule is expected to be Mon/Tues/Wed.
Job Description:
- This position primarily involves opening, sorting, and preparing forms for scanning.
- The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, and the capacity to retain and accurately repeat tasks once trained.
- We operate in a fast-paced environment, and efficiency is important after the training period.
- The candidate will be responsible for learning approximately 45 different document types and accurately identifying and categorizing each one.
Requirements:
- Experience in document preparation, scanning, or imaging is a plus.
- This role is primarily sedentary but does require movement throughout the office to retrieve mail and other documents.
- Basic technical skills are required, including the ability to operate a copier/printer for making copies.
- The position also requires the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, including mail tubs, trays, and paper.
