Data Center Network Associate
Job Description
Skills:
- Managing requests from the ticketing system and coordinating those actions with prioritization.
- Continuously improve your knowledge of company products and services to provide accurate and relevant information to the customers of company’s Data Center
- Power Management, Usage
- Serial Numbers, Equipment Locations
- Accepting, closing and re-directing service tickets
- Deploy Cabinets (Cabinet, equipment and power)
- Install and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic connections
- Provide configuration assistance as requested by Network Engineering Leads
- Deploy Equipment, assist in troubleshooting as requested
- Initial configuration of Server and Storage (like iDRAC and management ports)
- Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate departments or individuals.
Qualifications:
- Wiring and Cable management Experience required
- Willingness to follow instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in using computer software and tools, such as Microsoft Office and ServiceNow.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays (on occasion).
