Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess applicable educational and/or certification credentials from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience. This role requires the ability to apply organic coatings to meet corrosion protection and appearance requirements, as well as perform organic chemical conversion and paint preparation using brush, roll, and spray application methods. The candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and process work instructions to ensure work is completed in alignment with engineering intent. Additional responsibilities include vacuum and mechanical bonding of Thermal Protective Systems on flight hardware, along with the application of Thermal Protective Systems through spray and pour methods. A strong commitment to following all assigned safety guidelines and procedures is essential.

2nd shift: 2-10: 30 M-F
Weekend: 6-6: 30 Fri, Sat, Sun
Does this Worker Follow a 9x80 Work Schedule? No
OT/DOT expected? Yes, as needed
Does this position require a U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance?: Yes
What kind of Security Clearance I required: Secret
Is Clearance Required to Start?: Post start
Safety Sensitive? (DOD, EFO, FAA, FMCSA, NASA, Not Required): NASA (candidates will be required to go through NASA screening and badging post start)
Interviews will be conducted by MS Teams
Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years’related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
