Sustainability Metrics Analyst

Term: 12 months with possibility to extend

Role Overview

The S ustainability Metrics Analyst will research, compile, and analyze data as needed by the Global Sustainability Manager to support Ben & Jerry’s sustainability objectives . Data managed in this role drive insights that shape business decisions and strategy around climate, circularity, and nature initiatives . T h is role will also develop, gather, and manage other internal and external metrics as needed by other members of the Social Mission team which can include applications for B Corp and Fairtrade certifications, annual Human Rights compliance reporting, data collection and assessment for the Social & Environmental Assessment Report (SEAR), as examples . Data required may change based upon annual or long-term business priorities.
 
Job Responsibilities


  • C ollect and analyse energy, purchased goods, waste, transportation, and all business process activity required to develop Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions results for all geographies


  • Track annual changes in packaging type, material and amounts . Support other packaging efforts through data collection and project management.


  • Engage with Ben & Jerry’s suppliers to gather relevant ingredient ghg emissions, country of origin and L and Use Change indicators


  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, narratives, and approvals


  • Analyze and synthesize sustainability, social impact, and governance data into clear, compelling conten


  • Lead new B C orp Certification process


  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure on-time completion


  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and data quality for the futur


  • Manage Social Mission process to create Purchase Orders and ensure on time payment to supplier partners.

Qualifications
   


  • Proven experience in CSR, ESG, or sustainability reporting (3-5 years minimum) . Familiarity with CSR reporting standards, GHG Protocol, and ESG frameworks


  • Strong project management experience . This role requires strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.


  • Experience with B Corp certification is desired but not mandator


  • Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent work-life experience in corporate social responsibility or socially progressive initiatives

  •  

  • Skilled in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets—particularly social and environmental metrics—to extract actionable insights and support compelling, data-driven reporting.


  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint . Experience with SAP desired. PowerBI or similar data visualization tools is desired. Open to learning AI
