Job Description

Location Address: Hybrid - Hybrid 2 days (Anchor days: Tuesday, Thursdays)
Subject to change: 3–4 days onsite may be required based on business needs
Contract Duration: ASAP to Oct 31, 2026 –approx. 6 months
Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday;standard 37.5 hrs/week

Story Behind the Need
Business group: GBME - Group Treasury and Risk Technology, Corporate & Commercial Banking Technology team
Project: The PLM (Problem Loan Management) project is a strategic initiative to replace legacy systems for credit loss and default calculations, aiming to standardise data, automate workflows, and enhance reporting for regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. It focuses on scalability, bilingual support, and improved user experience through streamlined processes.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in complex delivery environments.
2) Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and user stories.
3) Proven ability to create process maps, workflows, and functional specifications.
4) Strong stakeholder management and communication skills bridging business and technical teams.
5) Experience working within Agile environments and understanding SDLC phases.

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Working experience in the banking/financial services industry would be an asset
2) Knowledge of credit and risk management applications.
3) Experience supporting large transformation or system replacement initiatives.

Soft Skills Required:
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
•Attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity.
•Collaborative, professional working style with a can-do attitude.
•Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.

Education:
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
Business Analysis or Agile certifications are an asset.

Best VS. Average Candidate:
The best candidate demonstrates strong analytical capability combined with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills and can add strategic value from day one. An average candidate may focus primarily on documentation, require more guidance, and have limited depth in understanding end-to-end business processes and solution impacts.

1-2 rounds Technical Panel Interviews –MS Teams and in Person –with HM and team members –45 minutes
