Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Assistant Storekeeper 1 to support warehouse and materials management operations. The ideal candidate will assist with inventory control, shipping and receiving, order processing, and material handling while maintaining accurate inventory records. This position requires working in a warehouse environment and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
- Receive, store, and distribute materials.
- Process orders and prepare shipping/receiving documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
- Support customers by tracking orders and resolving material inquiries.
- Perform quality control and compliance checks.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams.
- Use inventory management systems for tracking materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Warehouse or storekeeping experience (0–5 years preferred).
- Basic inventory management knowledge.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Material handling skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Forklift Operator (Required).
