Assembly - Contractor - A
Job Description
Location: Tempe, AZ 85281
Duration: 12 months (Possible for extension)
Pay rate range: $20–$21.45/hr on w2 (All inclusive)
Shift: 2nd shift –2: 30 PM –12: 00 PM
Job Description:
- Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
- Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation.
- Entry-level support individual contributor.
- Work is closely supervised.
- Work consists of tasks that are routine.
- Explains facts and practices related to job area.
- Ability to work with small fragile parts.
- Ability to follow work instructions and make operation entries on computer terminals
- Microscope and inspection experience.
- Use of hand tools and specialized testing equipment
- Participating in process improvements
- Keep work area orderly and clean
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work with engineering and engineering technicians
- Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has minimal impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, routine task-related activities.
- Requires minimal job knowledge/skills.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
- Works with close supervision on routine tasks.
- Detailed instructions are provided and close peer review is required.
- Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
