Job Title: Application Engineer I
Location: 100% Remote in US
Duration: 18+ Months
Pay rate range: $55.00 - $57.00/hour.
Position Summary:
- A Gas Power Design Liaison Engineer on the Sprint team is responsible for the successful management, substantiation and execution of critical engineering drawing changes and tasks.
- They are to provide technical support, ensure compliance with processes and ensure all tasks are completed expeditiously and to a high-quality standard.
Responsibilities:
- The successful management, substantiation and timely execution of critical engineering drawing changes and tasks.
- Provide expeditious technical and project management support and troubleshooting for engineering activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful task completion.
- Apply knowledge of design and manufacturing to implement process improvements and/or new ideas that enhance overall function and quality of the parts, reduce cost and reduce defects in manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering.
- Proven experience demonstrates strong project management, teamwork and communication skills, as well as a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PLM, NX/UG and Microsoft Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred:
- Years of experience in the Gas Turbine industry.
