Job Description

Experience Level: Level 2 (intermediate): 2-5 years

Location: Montreal (Day 1 onboarding onsite/in office presence 3x/week)

Required Skills
  • Knowledge and experience of governance processes and reporting frameworks
  • Experience in process improvement including the integration of AI into BAU processes to enhance/automate/make efficiencies
  • Knowledge of metrics lifecycle from design, implementation into governance reporting
  • Experience in Enterprise change management eg system migrations (for example, migration from QlikView to Power BI) / application decommissioning activities.
  • Experience of working with Business Intelligence tooling (Power BI, QlikView)
  • Comfort working with multiple deadlines and managing ad-hoc priority tasks.
  • Comfort working across time zones
  • Strong data analysis skills with knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulae, slicers, timelines, data visualization)
Nice to have
  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject (e.G. Business Technology, Information Technology, Risk Management, Business Management)
Primary Responsibilities
  • Supporting Operational BAU
  • Support recurring monthly processes to monitor, report and escalate Technology Risk Metrics to numerous stakeholder and management forums.
  • Analyze risk indicators to identify and escalate appropriate issues for management attention.
  • Production of multiple senior management metrics and risk commentary reporting materials on a monthly and quarterly basis to satisfy regulatory requirements.
  • Perform investigation of highlighted risks to identify and facilitate resolution of potential issues in support of reporting
  • Produce ad-hoc MI reporting by extracting, cleansing and analyzing data.
  • Quality assurance of management reporting, presentations and tooling.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to understand business needs and translate these into fit for purpose business requirements for tooling and process improvements.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders from all levels of the organisation.
  • Utilize data analysis tool sets to analyse and interpret information, identify root causes of problems & draw conclusions.
  • Support internal, external and regulatory audit responses in relation to technology risk reporting and metrics as required
  • Define business requirements and collaborate with development teams to drive functional enhancements to existing BI tooling.
  • Supporting a Technology Risk and Cyber metrics Program
  • Support a Program of Work relating to the measurement of controls in Technology policies
  • Governance Reporting & Oversight - Produce and enhance recurring governance reporting for senior management and risk committees
  • Requirements Definition for Metrics Application - Define and document business and functional requirements for new or enhanced metrics applications and platforms
  • Partner with project teams on migration activities relating to applications, metrics
  • Maintenance of a metrics inventory
